Abstract

Introduction: The pregnancy is a particular state for the cardiovascular factors of risk. When they exist at a pregnant woman, they require a detailed attention throughout the pregnancy. The goal of this work was to evaluate the cardiovascular factors of risk among pregnant women.


Patients and methods: It was about an exploratory study of descriptive type realized in the Communal Medical centre blazing them for the period going of August 1, 2014 to January 30, 2015. All the allowed gestantes with the maternity at which the cardiovascular risk was evaluated at 10 years, were included. Our variables of study were: epidemiologic (Frequency, age); private clinics based on the interrogation and the arterial tap pressure accompanied by the urinary strip and finally the total cholesterol level.


Results: During the period of study 210 pregnant women étaients included. The average age of our patients was 29,5 years with some 17 years and 42 years extremes. The evaluation of the risk according to on-line computer, 1% of the women of less than 30 years would present a cardiovascular event in 10 years; whereas those old of 30-34 years is 1 to 5% would present also a cardiovascular event. Fifteen percent of the 35.-39 year old women would make in 10 years a cardiovascular event.


Conclusion: It proves to be necessary to lead an exploratory study to great scale in order to better apprehend the factors of cardiovascular risk among these pregnant women in Guinea.
